About Me

Hello! My name is Kevin. I’m glad that you’ve discovered my blog. Thank you for following along as I continue to share my experience and passion for surfing, reading, and film photography. These pursuits have provided sparks of energy that have kept my daily routine exciting, and pushed me to observe the world in ways that promote growth. Wherever your interests lie, I hope this motivates you to find inspiration in everyday moments as well.

My surfing experience comes from decades of playing in the ocean on pieces of foam of all shapes and sizes. The sensation of wave riding is unlike anything else I’ve ever felt and I’ve been hooked since day one spent riding my first Seatrend board at age 10. My journey on different styles of waves and watercraft has evolved over the years, teaching me something new with each variable while also driving me to stay fit and healthy to push my skills and keep having fun in the ocean.

Regarding reading, this blog was inspired by a book club a friend invited me to join two years ago. It has become a great outlet for me and a major source of inspiration, curiosity, and motivation to express myself creatively. As such, I’ve launched this website to push that creativity, get my thoughts down, build something with my words and photography (unless otherwise noted), and hopefully inspire others along the way. I’m learning that sometimes routine is good to break. In this case, reading has helped me turn otherwise passive evenings into after-work creative sessions.
